Ingredients

Units Scale
  • Steak Bites:
    • 1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
    • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 4 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Parmesan Cream Sauce:
    • 1/2 cup beef broth
    • 1/2 cup heavy cream
    • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the steak cubes with salt and pepper. Sear them in the skillet for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your preference. Remove and set aside.
  3. Lower the heat to medium and add butter to the skillet. Stir in garlic and thyme once melted, cooking for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the beef broth and let it simmer for about 3 minutes, reducing slightly.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, whisking until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Simmer for another 2–3 minutes.
  6. Return the steak bites to the skillet, tossing to coat them in the sauce.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
