- Steak Bites:
- 1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Parmesan Cream Sauce:
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the steak cubes with salt and pepper. Sear them in the skillet for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your preference. Remove and set aside.
- Lower the heat to medium and add butter to the skillet. Stir in garlic and thyme once melted, cooking for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the beef broth and let it simmer for about 3 minutes, reducing slightly.
- Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, whisking until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Simmer for another 2–3 minutes.
- Return the steak bites to the skillet, tossing to coat them in the sauce.
- Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
